Globe Unified School District

Buyer seeks a qualified Certified Public Accountant or Public Accountant to conduct annual financial audits. The scope includes auditing financial transactions and accounts for fiscal years 2025 through 2029. The selected firm must complete audits in accordance with the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996. The contractor will also be responsible for completing the USFR Compliance Questionnaire.

• Must be a qualified Certified Public Accountant or Public Accountant
• Experience with Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 requirements

• Conduct annual financial audit for 5 fiscal years (2025-2029)
• Complete USFR Compliance Questionnaire
• Audit financial transactions and accounts per Single Audit Act
• Evaluate internal control structure
• Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and grant agreements
• Issue independent auditor's report on financial statements
• Prepare management letter with recommendations for improvements
• Present audit findings to school board
• Submit required reports to Arizona Department of Education
• Coordinate with district staff throughout audit process
