Buyer seeks professional architectural/engineering services for the renovation of the Sam Houston Building in Austin, TX. Services include comprehensive architectural design, engineering, cost estimating and other necessary services for a 170,000 square foot office building. The project will be implemented using a Construction Manager at Risk delivery process with multiple design packages. Buyer requires a firm with experience in handling public projects with multiple stakeholders.

• 3/26/2025 - Deadline for Submission of Questions
• 3/31/2025 - Anticipated Release of Written Answers
• 4/23/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 6/1/2025 - Anticipated Contract Start Date

• Out of State vendors must have Certificate of Authority in Texas
• Current TBPE business entity registration
• Current TBAE Certificate of Registration
• Minimum five years experience designing multifunctional government spaces
• Local presence with ability to be onsite with short notice

• Programming and conceptual design for 170,000 sq ft office building
• Prepare multiple design packages for phased construction approach
• Conduct stakeholder presentations and manage approvals process
• Perform life cycle costing and utility infrastructure design
• Provide interior design and acoustic planning services
• Develop wayfinding signage and graphics solutions
• Design for uninterrupted operations of building occupants
• Coordinate with Construction Manager at Risk delivery process
• Support pre-project planning and construction cost estimating
• Provide construction administration and warranty management services
