Buyer seeks a qualified consultant to provide short-term professional development services at Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute. The consultant will strengthen organizational capabilities in systems thinking, strategic problem-solving, team trust-building, and organizational alignment. Services include delivering 3-5 interactive sessions over a 2-month period focused on healthcare operations and strategic planning. Buyer is a state-funded psychiatric hospital serving adults with serious mental illness.

• Three years experience in coaching, teaching, problem-solving
• Experience providing executive-level leadership development
• Strong background in public sector environments preferred
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills

• Conduct needs assessment of organizational communication and systems thinking
• Develop customized training curriculum on systems thinking
• Deliver 3-5 interactive training sessions (2-4 hours each)
• Facilitate reflection and feedback sessions
• Provide frameworks for scenario planning and consequence anticipation
• Break down departmental silos through shared strategic goals
• Build team trust and collaboration across departments
• Create tools for strategic problem-solving
• Develop case-based learning focused on healthcare operations
• Prepare final report with recommendations for organizational improvement
