Buyer is seeking qualified firms or consultants to provide Public Relations Services. The contractor will support and aid the buyer in developing earned news media services through strategic planning, key message development, and support for specific projects and overall County activities. Services include media relations, crisis communications, event support, and community outreach.

• 4/22/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/1/2025 - Contract Start Date
• 6/30/2028 - Contract End Date

• Experience handling press inquiries for local government
• Experience assisting governments with communication and community relations
• Experience creating public interest in governmental functions and events

• Develop communications strategy and talking points on projects or issues
• Create news releases for County approval and distribution
• Assist and advise on daily media inquiries
• Provide communications and media training to County personnel
• Develop media response protocol
• Advise on crisis communication including plans and strategies
• Plan and conduct news conferences and community advisory meetings
• Provide on-site assistance for special events
• Support community outreach efforts for selected projects
• Coordinate local logistics for events including invitations and site selection
