Buyer seeks technical support for economic and environmental analysis for the California Water Commission's Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP). Services include reviewing and analyzing applicants' physical public benefits and project costs, providing analytical support to update applicants' Maximum Conditional Eligibility Determinations, and determining economic and financial feasibility of water resources projects. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis with timing dependent on WSIP final funding hearings and supplementary funding availability.

  • Five years experience working with California agencies or water agencies
  • Review applicants' physical public benefits and project costs
  • Analyze economic and environmental aspects of water storage projects
  • Update Maximum Conditional Eligibility Determinations (MCEDs)
  • Quantify and monetize physical benefits of water resources projects
  • Determine economic and financial feasibility of water projects
  • Analyze current economic conditions to reevaluate benefit values
  • Provide technical assistance to WSIP applicants
  • Attend and coordinate meetings with state agencies
  • Apply water and ecosystem services valuation methodologies
  • Support California Water Commission's WSIP implementation
