Buyer seeks to identify experienced organizations to manage and operate a centralized Lost and Found office at San Diego International Airport. The service provider will assume responsibility for an operation currently handled by an internal Authority Department. The provider must implement efficient, reliable, and customer-focused solutions for handling lost items within the airport premises. Service includes receiving items from public areas, terminals, common use shuttles, and TSA checkpoints.

• Implement and operate Lost and Found software for item tracking
• Process and disposition a minimum of 15,000 items annually
• Develop structured communication with individuals searching for items
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations
• Create staffing plans with position descriptions
• Establish metrics for evaluating service performance
• Develop dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators
• Manage dispositioning according to various laws and policies
• Provide initial and ongoing staff training
• Design customer-focused lost item recovery solutions
