Buyer seeks a qualified person or firm to operate, manage, and market a permanent shop at the Madison County Farmers Market. The lease includes approximately 1,845 square feet on the west end of the Market. In addition to operating their own shop, the selected vendor will be responsible for managing the public portion of the Market, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high-quality products are sold.

• Operate a permanent shop in the west end of the Farmers Market
• Manage and market the public portion of the Farmers Market
• Create and implement a business plan for the Market
• Maintain regular business hours Tuesday through Saturday
• Pay utilities including water, sanitation, electricity, and gas
• Clean restrooms and public areas daily
• Remove trash and debris from the premises
• Provide monthly reports of special events and vendor lists
• Maintain high quality products and services
• Ensure compliance with weights and measures laws
• Manage vendor relationships and provide equal opportunities to vendors
• Open the public portion Wednesday through Saturday
• Maintain financial records of Market operations
• Keep premises in good repair and condition
• Provide liability insurance coverage
