The buyer seeks a qualified Certified Public Accountant to perform financial and compliance auditing services. The auditor will conduct annual audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and government auditing standards. The scope includes auditing financial statements, preparing required reports, and providing recommendations for improving accounting procedures. The contract term is for one year with annual renewals.

• Licensed for public practice as a CPA in Georgia
• Meet independence requirements of GAO Audit Standards

• Perform annual financial and compliance audit
• Prepare required audit reports
• Conduct Single Audit if required
• Provide recommendations for improving accounting procedures
• Present management letter to county
• Prepare draft financial statements and schedules
• Verify SPLOST expenditures
• Certify 911 charge expenditures
• Complete Data Collection Form
• Assist with implementing new GASB statements
