Buyer seeks qualified artists or artist teams to create public art for Legacy Square, a transformative community hub in downtown Renton. The project encompasses a comprehensive artistic vision for multiple locations within the space. Selected artists will collaborate with City staff and community to develop a cohesive plan that enhances key features including gateway sign, sports field, stage, and play area. The artwork should reflect values of inclusivity while creating a visually engaging environment for the space opening in mid-2026.

• Proven experience creating large-scale public art, murals, sculptures, or integrated elements
• Ability to develop cohesive artistic plan incorporating multiple site elements
• Experience working collaboratively with city staff and community stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to execute outdoor art installations with durability focus
• Must be based in the United States

• Develop comprehensive artistic vision for multiple locations within Legacy Square
• Create cohesive public art plan for gateway sign, sports field, stage, play area
• Design large-scale art installation or mural for designated wall
• Collaborate with City staff and community stakeholders during design process
