Abatement and Demolition Services

Maryland Stadium Authority

Buyer is requesting proposals from prime contractors to provide abatement, demolition, site development and stabilization services. Services will be performed for properties identified under the Baltimore Vacants Reinvestment Initiative (BVRI). Buyer requires contractors with experience in handling hazardous materials including regulated asbestos. The project includes a 35% MBE participation goal with no sub-goals.

• 3/24/2025 - Pre-Proposal Conference
• 3/28/2025 - Question Due Date
• 4/7/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Five years experience providing prime contracting services on abatement and demolition projects
• Experience as prime contractor for programs similar in size and scope
• Experience in all phases of construction including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction
• Ability to meet agreed upon schedule
• Understanding of Program Protocols, standards, laws and conditions
• Ability to meet insurance and bonding requirements

• Perform hazardous materials abatement
• Conduct building demolition of vacant properties
• Provide site development and stabilization services
• Install fencing and sediment erosion control
• Apply rodenticide prior to demolition
• Manage and dispose of regulated asbestos containing materials
• Perform backfill operations after demolition
• Apply topsoil, seeding and maintenance for revegetation
• Replace sidewalks as needed
• Submit detailed documentation and certified payroll reports
