Buyer seeks a Food Service Management Company to operate its school nutrition programs for the 2025-2026 school year. The FSMC will manage and operate a nonprofit school food service in compliance with USDA and TDA requirements. Services include menu planning, food preparation and service, staff management, financial reporting, and promotion of nutrition education. The contract is for one year with the option to renew for up to four additional years.

• 3/4/2025 - Pre-Proposal Meeting
• 4/1/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/1/2025 - Contract Start Date

• Must be on TDA approved FSMC Vendor List
• Comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations
• Provide required insurance coverage

• Operate school nutrition programs in compliance with regulations
• Provide qualified staff for efficient food service operation
• Develop menus meeting USDA meal pattern requirements
• Manage USDA Foods inventory and credits
• Implement point of service counting system
• Maintain required health certifications and food safety standards
• Provide financial reports and maintain required records
• Promote nutrition education and student engagement
• Offer free, reduced-price and full-price reimbursable meals
• Cooperate with SFA advisory board on menu planning
