Development of One Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home

Buyer seeks to develop one Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home for adults with developmental disabilities and severe behavioral/medical needs. The home will serve up to 4 residents and provide 24-hour nonmedical care with enhanced staffing and supervision. Buyer requires an experienced service provider to operate the facility, which will be purchased through a non-profit Housing Development Organization. The program must obtain necessary licensures and implement a comprehensive program design to meet residents' complex needs.

• Currently vendored with California regional center to provide residential care in Community Care Facility
• Minimum 2 consecutive years experience providing residential services in CCF Level 4-I or Specialized Residential Facility
• Experience serving individuals with severe behavioral challenges, severe self-care deficits, and medical conditions
• Willing to serve as representative payee for all residents

• Develop one staff-operated Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home for adults with severe behavioral and medical needs
• Purchase home through non-profit Housing Development Organization and lease to service provider
• Provide 24-hour nonmedical care for up to 4 residents with developmental disabilities
• Implement enhanced behavioral supports, staffing, and supervision in a homelike setting
• Obtain necessary licensure and certifications from Department of Social Services and Department of Developmental Services
• Hire and train staff, including administrator meeting specific qualifications
• Develop program design and obtain RCOC approval
• Complete facility modifications and furnishings as needed
• Establish ongoing consultant supports for behavioral and medical needs
• Serve as representative payee for all residents
