Information Technology Need at Helen Hayes Hospital

The buyer seeks to engage a contractor to ensure fully functional information technology systems at Helen Hayes Hospital. The contractor will provide visible leadership, support, and guidance on all IT systems and projects. This engagement requires a fully dedicated physical presence at the hospital and does not allow for remote work. The contractor will assess and support maintenance of operations in various IT areas and review existing technology contracts.

- Two years experience working in networking, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Two years experience troubleshooting Linux/Unix, Windows server, cloud or virtualization technology, PBX/VOIP and backup technologies
- Certified to conduct business in NYS
- Active NYS MBE or WBE certification
- Provide visible leadership and support on all IT systems and projects
- Serve as designated point of contact for all IT staff
- Assess and support maintenance of operations in application and desktop support
- Manage networking and infrastructure support
- Review existing technology contracts and advise on potential procurements
- Provide regular status updates to Executive Leadership
