• Conduct financial and compliance audit of basic financial statements
• Perform single audit in accordance with Uniform Guidance if applicable
• Prepare management letter with efficiency and internal control recommendations
• Present audit report to Board of Commissioners
• Assist with preparation of Annual Financial Information Report (AFIR)
• Provide guidance on new accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Conduct interim audit work prior to fiscal year end
• Submit audit report to Local Government Commission by November 30
• Prepare government-wide year-end adjusting journal entries
• Update summary tables for Management's Discussion & Analysis section
