• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm with active California license
• Free from disciplinary actions in past three years
• Experience providing financial statement audit and ACFR services to California municipal entities
• No known or anticipated conflicts of interest with City of Walnut

• Perform audit of all funds in accordance with auditing standards
• Prepare and publish Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
• Perform Single Audit on federal fund expenditures
• Conduct agreed-upon procedures for Gann Appropriations Limit
• Prepare and submit annual Street Report to State Controller's Office
• Prepare and submit Financial Transactions Report to State Controller's Office
• Provide audit report and opinion on basic financial statements
• Issue compliance letter for Gann Appropriations Limit
• Ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-133 for Single Audit
• Maintain independence and objectivity throughout the audit process
