The buyer is seeking proposals from qualified independent auditing firms to provide audit services. The contract will cover annual audits for fiscal years ending June 30, 2025 through June 30, 2029. The auditor will perform financial, state compliance, and single audits in accordance with required standards. The buyer requires various reports including audited financial statements, internal control reports, and a management letter.

• 2/19/2025 - RFP Issuance Date
• 3/13/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Perform financial audit in accordance with GAAP and GAGAS
• Conduct state compliance audit per State Compliance Audit Guide
• Complete single audit in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 if applicable
• Issue auditor's opinion on financial statements
• Prepare report on internal control and compliance
• Produce comprehensive management letter with findings and recommendations
• Submit audit reports by December 15 following audited year
• Retain workpapers and reports for 5 years after audit completion
• Assist city in obtaining GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
