The buyer seeks qualified organizations to establish Community Resource Hubs within environmental justice communities across Connecticut. Hubs will provide services to facilitate community engagement, access to resources, education and outreach, event participation, and workforce development. The purpose is to connect DEEP programs and initiatives with communities experiencing disproportionate environmental harms. Contracts will be awarded to lead organizations that may collaborate with subcontractors or partners.

• Must be Connecticut-based
• Demonstrate established relationships within environmental justice communities they plan to serve

• Facilitate community input on DEEP policy and program design
• Increase community access to state and federal grants and financial assistance programs
• Facilitate education programs and informational awareness on DEEP initiatives
• Facilitate community access to and participation in DEEP events
• Facilitate community participation in workforce development opportunities
• Provide physical office and meeting space in environmental justice communities
• Conduct community-based research and analysis for DEEP programs
• Host funding application workshops for community members
• Arrange transportation to state parks through ParkConneCT program
• Connect residents with DEEP training and workforce programs
