The buyer is seeking external financial auditing services. The scope includes performing financial audits, federal single audits, and financial statement preparation for the buyer and its charter schools. The selected firm will also audit the buyer's foundation and radio station, prepare tax forms, and comply with all applicable auditing standards. The contract term is for four years.

• Must be eligible to perform governmental audits
• Must be listed on State of New Mexico Office of the State Auditor current approved audit firms list

• Perform financial audit of APS and charter schools
• Conduct federal single audit
• Prepare financial statements for APS and charter schools
• Audit APS Foundation and KANW Radio station
• Prepare APS Foundation Form 990 Return
• Attend entrance and exit conferences with audit committees
• Provide monthly status updates during fieldwork
• Submit final audit to State Auditor by November deadline
• Combine all component units into final APS Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
• Comply with applicable auditing standards and requirements
