Buyer seeks proposals for On-Call Cultural Resources Assessment Services. The consultant(s) will provide services for Planning and Public Works divisions. Services include compliance with State, Local, and Federal archaeological and historical site preservation regulations. The buyer intends to hire multiple qualified firms for a two-year initial contract with potential extensions up to five years total.

- 2/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date
- Employ Secretary of the Interior-qualified architectural historians, historical architects, and archaeologists
- Meet federal (36 CFR Part 61) and state (RCW 27.53) requirements
- Experience in all aspects of cultural resources management
- Provide cultural resources expertise for local, state, and federal codes
- Attend meetings and consultations with DAHP, Tribes, and other agencies
- Research databases and archives for site information
- Complete Historic American Buildings Surveys and documentation
- Draft and prepare cultural resource reports and forms
- Conduct on-site surveys, assessments, and soil testing
- Produce cultural resource management plans and damage assessments
- Monitor site activities and ground-disturbing work
- Be available for urgent or emergency services within 24 hours
- Develop Inadvertent Discovery Plans consistent with County standards
