The buyer is seeking proposals from qualified Agents/Brokers to provide health insurance options to international students, scholars and their dependents. The service provider must offer comprehensive, ACA-compliant health insurance plans from multiple top-rated U.S. insurance companies. The contract period is estimated to be from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with the possibility of four one-year renewals. The buyer may select multiple service providers if deemed in the best interest of the College.

• Must have at least six years of experience working directly with College or University international students
• Must be able to provide a minimum of four references from College or University International Student Services administrators

• Provide comprehensive, ACA-compliant health insurance plans for international students and scholars
• Work directly with MDC International Student Services staff to request quotations
• Review and vet waiver forms for alternate insurance requests
• Serve as customer service representative for international students regarding coverage and claims
• Provide MDC-specific enrollment website for students to purchase coverage online
• Verify student insurance coverage with International Student Services staff
• Conduct in-person campus visits and presentations at student orientations
• Provide enrollment, claims, and safety reports broken down by campus
• Offer services in multiple languages, with Spanish required
• Comply with data security and FERPA regulations
