Brief Description

Buyer is seeking grant applications for programs to expand the aviation maintenance technical workforce. The grant program aims to provide educational experiences to stimulate interest in aviation maintenance careers. Buyer will award approximately 9 grants of up to $1 million each for 2-year projects. Eligible applicants include certified repair stations, labor organizations, educational institutions, aviation nonprofits, and government entities.

Must be a certified repair station, labor organization, accredited institution, aviation-related nonprofit, or government entity
Must have an active SAM.gov registration
Must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)

Task Summary

Create and deliver aviation maintenance education programs for high school and college students
Establish or improve apprenticeships, internships, or scholarships for aviation maintenance careers
Support transition to aviation maintenance careers, including for military members and veterans
Conduct outreach about aviation maintenance careers, especially to underrepresented populations
Enhance or expand the aviation maintenance technical workforce
