The buyer seeks a qualified firm to develop and execute public health awareness campaigns. The campaign aims to promote specific public health messages, enhance recognition of available services, and promote the Health Department as the local public health expert. The contractor will develop a campaign plan, create materials, implement social media and advertising strategies, and provide ongoing management. The campaign should be sustainable, scalable, and replicable.

• Actively engaged in communication, advertising and marketing for at least 7 years
• Experience developing successful public health awareness and marketing campaigns
• Experience developing outreach to minority, underserved and special populations
• Experience working with current and emerging communications platforms and technologies
• Experience evaluating success of communications and outreach efforts
• Knowledge of and/or experience working in the State of Maryland
• Experience working with public health agencies
