The buyer seeks an employee benefit consulting and actuarial firm to provide services for managing its employee health and wellness benefits programs. The primary focus is on providing annual actuarial reserve analysis, renewal reports, and recommendations for plan design and rates. The contractor will consult on all matters related to employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and other programs. Services include actuarial analysis, compliance support, strategic planning, and vendor management.

• Have an A.M. Best or Standard & Poor insurance rating of no less than A
• Have at least one government client with 20,000+ participants in benefits programs
• Have 10+ years health insurance and pharmacy benefit consulting and actuarial experience
• Have a local office within 40 miles of downtown Phoenix
• Be licensed as an insurance administrator in Arizona

• Provide annual actuarial reserve analysis
• Deliver annual renewal report with plan design recommendations
• Develop premium rate and contribution scenarios
• Present to Benefit Trust Fund Trustees annually
• Consult on employee benefits administration
• Conduct program review, analysis and evaluation
• Provide updates on benefit regulations and legislation
• Assist with procurement and vendor contract negotiations
• Develop strategies to improve employee health and manage costs
• Establish strategic goals for employee benefits and wellness programs
