The buyer is seeking proposals for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of a bus security camera system. The system will be installed on 63 fixed-route buses and 19 additional vehicles. Each bus requires a minimum of 11 cameras with expansion capability. The contractor is responsible for supplying, installing, and testing all hardware and software components. The system must integrate with existing AVL systems and allow for live streaming and wireless video downloads.

• At least 10 years working experience in video surveillance for public transit agencies in US
• Successfully implemented turn-key on-board video surveillance system for 5 public agencies of equal or larger size

• Supply and install on-board video surveillance system for 63 buses and 10 trolleys
• Provide HD quality camera system recording at all times when vehicle is powered
• Allow live streaming of bus cameras for transit staff and emergency responders
• Integrate with Clever Devices AVL system to tag videos
• Provide backend Video Management System for video feed requests and management
• Provide initial training on system operation and maintenance
• Ensure system is US DOT Buy-America compliant
• Provide 3 years of hardware and software warranty and maintenance
• Supply 20% spare hardware
• Demonstrate system operates perfectly after installation
