First Responder Wellness Counseling Services
Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services
Buyer seeks to establish a contract for culturally competent and confidential counseling services for first responders across Virginia. The services aim to address unique mental, emotional, and physical health challenges faced by first responders. Buyer requires in-person and telehealth options, with a focus on trauma-informed care and resiliency skill-building. The contract will serve approximately 350 individuals with up to six one-hour sessions each.
- 11/21/2024 - Optional Pre-Proposal Conference
- 12/13/2024 - Proposal Due Date
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Documented background serving first responders
- Ability to provide services statewide
- Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions
- Provide culturally competent counseling services for first responders
- Offer in-person and telehealth counseling options
- Ensure confidentiality and anonymity of participants
- Provide up to six one-hour counseling sessions per participant
- Generate monthly reports on service utilization
