The buyer is seeking HIPAA compliance consulting services. The consultant will analyze the buyer's current activities and systems to determine where HIPAA and HITECH regulations may apply. The consultant will develop a detailed compliance plan and roadmap, including estimated costs, necessary controls, policies, training programs, and ongoing audits. The project aims to enable the buyer to potentially agree to Business Associate Agreements or declare compliance in data use agreements.
