The buyer seeks qualified consultants to provide botanical inventory and monitoring services for its open space preserves. Services include conducting botanical surveys, habitat assessments, rare plant management, invasive species control, and other related tasks. The buyer aims to protect and restore the diversity and integrity of its botanical resources. Up to five consultants may be selected for on-call agreements.

- Knowledge of plant taxonomy and natural community ecology
- Familiarity with plants and natural communities of the region
- Experience with CNDDB, BIOS, and California Vegetation Classification standards
- Experience conducting floristic botanical field surveys
- Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct protocol-level botanical surveys
- Perform habitat assessments
- Develop rare plant management plans
- Create invasive plant prioritization and management plans
- Conduct riparian delineations
- Perform early detection/rapid response for invasive species
- Collect herbarium voucher specimens
- Conduct relevé or vegetation rapid assessments
