The buyer is seeking information from agencies interested in implementing Intercept services for children and families involved in child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems. Intercept is an intensive in-home parenting skills program aimed at preventing out-of-home placements or reunifying families quickly. The buyer plans to launch two pilot programs in King and Spokane counties. Agencies must be pre-certified by Youth Villages to deliver Intercept services.

  • Must be pre-certified by Youth Villages to deliver Intercept services
  • Must hold current Intercept licensing agreement with Youth Villages
  • Must meet expectations established by Youth Villages under licensing agreement
  • Implement Intercept services for children ages 0-18 and their families
  • Provide intensive in-home parenting skills program
  • Prevent children from entering out-of-home care
  • Reunify children with family quickly if out-of-home care is necessary
  • Work with child and caregivers to address family stability issues
  • Meet with families 3 times weekly in home or community
  • Provide 24-hour on-call crisis support
  • Collaborate with other providers, schools, case workers, and courts
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans
  • Carry caseloads of 4-5 families per specialist
