FY 2025-2026 Community Enhancement Grant

Buyer is seeking proposals for a Community Enhancement Grant program to support public services for low and moderate income persons. The program aims to develop viable communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic opportunities. Buyer will award grants between $20,000 and $50,000 to eligible nonprofit organizations to provide services such as job training, youth programs, counseling, and assistance for homeless individuals. Funds are provided through the federal Community Development Block Grant program.

- Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Must request between $20,000 and $50,000 in funding
- Must have attended at least one pre-proposal information session
- Must have no unresolved HUD or federal agency findings
- Provide public services for low and moderate income persons
- Assist households with exiting homelessness
- Provide job training services
- Offer youth tutoring and gang prevention programs
- Provide substance abuse prevention and treatment services
- Offer counseling services
- Provide childcare services
- Offer services for older adults
- Document that at least 51% of persons served are low/moderate income
- Collect and report required HUD data
