Buyer is seeking proposals for early intervention and postvention supportive services to reduce suicide and self-harm for County of Orange residents. Services include individual and group support, loss support, assessment and planning, evidence-based interventions, and community outreach. Buyer requires a community-based organization capable of providing Medi-Cal billable services. The contract will support suicide prevention efforts in Orange County.

• Must be a community-based organization
• Must be Medi-Cal certified or able to become certified
• Must have resources available to support billing practices
• Must not be a government office

• Provide individual intervention and group support for those with self-harm/suicide thoughts
• Offer loss support services for those who lost someone to suicide
• Conduct individualized assessments, treatment planning, and safety planning
• Implement evidence-based and culturally informed interventions
• Incorporate peer support component into services
• Provide referrals and linkages to appropriate follow-up care
• Establish billing procedures for insurance and Medi-Cal
• Conduct community outreach and awareness activities
• Participate in Orange County Community Suicide Prevention Coalition
• Collect and report data on service utilization and outcomes
