Buyer seeks geo-technical services for horizontal water and wastewater utility projects. The contract is for three years with an option to extend for two additional years. Services include site investigations, laboratory testing, engineering evaluations, and materials testing. Buyer requires expertise in subsurface exploration, non-destructive testing, and geotechnical report preparation.

• 11/22/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• Firm must be prequalified by the Office of Boards and Commissions for applicable disciplines
• Demonstrate experience in geotechnical services for horizontal water and wastewater utility projects
• Meet MBE goal of 30% and WBE goal of 15%

• Perform site and subsurface investigations including soil borings and rock cores
• Conduct non-destructive investigations using seismic refraction, electrical resistivity, and ground penetration radar
• Analyze soil and rock samples through various laboratory tests
• Prepare geotechnical engineering evaluation reports with site geology and subsurface condition interpretations
• Provide onsite materials testing and inspection services
• Design temporary earth support systems and groundwater control measures
• Perform test pits using vacuum and traditional methods
• Manage traffic control and prepare maintenance of traffic plans
• Obtain necessary permits and right of way access for investigations
• Conduct GPS/survey location of sampling locations and utility designation
