The consultant will study alternatives to restore boat ramp function and reduce future dredging needs. Services include bathymetric survey, evaluation of dredging quantities, and preparation of alternatives with cost estimates. Future phases may include design and construction services.

• Have a Professional Engineer licensed in Connecticut assigned to the project
• Have demonstrated experience with similar marine engineering projects within the past 5 years

• Review existing files, reports, and plans for the boat ramp facility
• Perform site inspection and bathymetric survey to document existing conditions
• Prepare engineering report detailing findings with 2-3 alternatives to restore function and reduce future dredging
• Provide detailed cost estimates for design, permitting, and construction of alternatives
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction bidding (future phase)
• Provide construction phase services (future phase)
