Buyer is seeking information on technologies and materials for overt security features in future U.S. currency. Buyer aims to obtain, test, and evaluate potential applications for visual authentication features. Proposed features should deter counterfeiting, be easily verifiable without devices, and be difficult to replicate. Buyer will assess submissions for effectiveness, compatibility, durability, and environmental acceptability. Only technologies with demonstrated laboratory feasibility will be considered.

- Develop overt, visual authentication features for U.S. currency
- Provide counterfeit deterrence against traditional printing and digital reproduction
- Create features that can be incorporated into banknote or applied to it
- Design features that are easy to authenticate without external devices
- Ensure features are difficult to simulate or duplicate
- Demonstrate laboratory feasibility of proposed technologies or materials
- Submit technical and product information for production materials
- Provide general budgetary cost and delivery information
- Supply customer reference list for production materials
- Prepare samples for potential BEP review and evaluation
