Buyer seeks contractors to increase awareness and engagement for their Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program. The focus is on under-engaged audiences, particularly communities of color and the human health sector in Maryland. Contractors will advertise opportunities, translate goals, and provide technical assistance to submit at least eight grant applications. The project aims to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in environmental restoration efforts.

• Knowledge and cultural competency related to target audience
• Demonstrated understanding of best methods to reach priority audience
• Experience with chosen advertisement methods
• History of working with target audience(s)
• Established relationships with priority audience members
• Organization mission focusing on priority audience or crosscutting natural resources
• 3-5 years experience assisting priority audience
• 3+ years experience assisting applicants in receiving grant funding

• Increase awareness of Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program
• Engage under-engaged audiences, focusing on communities of color and human health sector
• Translate Trust goals into language best received by target audiences
• Provide technical assistance for new applicants to navigate online application process
• Submit at least eight applications to the target program
• Develop robust project ideas meeting grant program RFP goals
• Conduct virtual or in-person workshops to advertise program
• Provide training on application process and online submission
• Use various advertisement methods to reach target audience
• Submit status report and final report on project progress and lessons learned
