Grants will support innovative events tailored to the theme: Take Action for Yourself, Take Action for Others, and Take Action for your Community. Buyer aims to engage diverse communities, decrease mental health stigma, and increase access to care. Events must occur in May 2025 and follow specific requirements outlined in the RFP.

- Minimum one year experience serving target audience identified in application
- Staff located within continental United States
- Not currently a contractor/vendor with LACDMH
- Leadership not employed by LACDMH in previous two fiscal years
- Able to meet project milestones and sign contract in stated timeframe
- Host community events promoting mental health awareness in May 2025
- Engage diverse communities to support LACDMH Take Action for Mental Health campaign
- Collect and report specific event information as identified by CalMHSA
- Market and promote events using May Is Mental Health Month branding
- Attend required webinars and trainings throughout the grant period
- Host a table at the LACDMH event in grantee's service area
- Provide accommodations for individuals with disabilities at events
- Submit finalized event details to CalMHSA by February 19, 2025
- Maintain separate accounting records if events are co-sponsored
- Comply with all grant requirements and deliverables outlined in RFP
