Aerial Photography Services - San Diego and Imperial Counties

The buyer seeks aerial photography services in San Diego and Imperial Counties. The contractor will provide an aircraft with licensed pilot(s) and photographer to take geotagged digital photographs of specified routes. Services include processing and delivering images to the buyer. The contractor must meet specific qualifications for pilots and photographers. Photography will occur during optimal lighting hours unless pre-approved by the buyer.

• Pilot(s) must have current U.S. commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating
• Pilot(s) must hold current class 1 or class 2 medical certificate
• Photographer must be able to read and interpret various types of maps
• Photographer must have experience taking aerial photographs

• Provide aircraft with licensed pilot(s) and photographer for aerial photography
• Deliver minimum 10 color oblique geotagged digital photographs per mile
• Take photographs between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for optimum lighting
• Process and transfer electronic images to Caltrans via Internet, DVD or CD
• Complete services and deliver images within 14 days of request
