Revenue Contract: Bluebikes Advertising Services

The buyer seeks a qualified firm to provide advertising sales and placement services for Boston's portion of the Bluebikes bike share system. The successful vendor will receive exclusive rights to sell and place advertisements on all available Boston stations. The contract aims to generate revenue for the bike share system through high-quality, appropriate advertising. The vendor will be responsible for sales, placement, revenue collection, and sharing profits with the buyer.

• Demonstrate successful advertising sales for at least 3 similar projects
• Experience working with local/state government and selling advertisements in comparable markets
• Availability and staff capacity to properly manage scope of work
• Provide percentage fee of 50% or greater

• Sell and place advertisements on all available Boston Bluebikes stations
• Manage permitting and installation of advertisements
• Collect advertising revenue and pay City its share
• Print advertisements at vendor's expense
• Remove inconsistent or prohibited advertising upon City's request
• Submit permit applications for new stations to Outdoor Advertising Board
• Ensure compliance with prohibited advertiser/advertisement restrictions
• Provide right of first refusal to Station Sponsors for their stations
• Pay fixed fee to City upon contract execution
• Make annual revenue share payments to City
