Buyer is seeking qualified contractors to provide Third-Party Inspector Services approved by the District of Columbia Department of Buildings. The services are required for various renovation and construction projects at the buyer's facilities on an as-needed basis. The scope includes code compliance inspections in structural, electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines. The buyer intends to award multiple contracts for the specified Work.

• 10/11/2024 - RFQ Questions Due Date
• 10/21/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• Possess five years of experience in providing third-party inspections for the District
• Key personnel must have five years of experience providing third party inspections for the District
• Possess all licenses required to provide the Work
• Perform all Work in conformance with applicable federal, state, and District laws and regulations

• Conduct code compliance inspections in structural, electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines
• Issue DOB Third Party 'Approved' stickers following inspections
• Certify inspected projects in writing for code compliance
• Be available for intermediate or final inspections with 12 hours notice
• Submit Special Inspection Certificates to the Building Official
• Provide Final Report when Special Inspections are no longer required
• Coordinate work schedule with COTR
• Perform inspections between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday
• Supervise all personnel or subcontractors performing the Work
• Maintain current certificate(s) of insurance throughout the contract
