The buyer seeks a qualified firm to provide comprehensive grant accounting, administration, research, writing, strategy, and general policy advising services. The contractor will work closely with the buyer's administration to enhance grant management capacity, ensure effective grant acquisition, compliance, and reporting. Services include reviewing and improving grants systems, supporting financial processes, advising on compliance, and providing training. The contract is for one year with options to renew for two additional one-year terms.

  • At least five years of experience in grant management, administration, and accounting
  • At least five years of experience writing grants for submission to funding entities
  • Experience working with agencies that fund institutions of higher education
  • Review and improve grants accounting systems and procedures
  • Review and improve grants time and attendance systems
  • Support month-end close process and draft grant-related accounting entries
  • Advise on compliance with regulations and grant requirements
  • Support budgeting process and indirect cost allocations
  • Prepare financial reports and grant drawdowns
  • Streamline pre-award, onboarding, and closeout processes
  • Coordinate grant activities and maintain documentation
  • Review and recommend policies and procedures
  • Provide training on grant management practices
