The buyer seeks an Investigative Consultant for the Ohio Driver Training Program Office. The consultant will conduct investigations, provide written reports, participate in hearings, and support program development. They will assist with enforcing regulations, attend meetings, and maintain communication with relevant parties. The consultant must have appropriate licensing and avoid conflicts of interest.

• 9/26/2024 - Begin Date
• 10/16/2024 - Inquiry End Date
• 10/17/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• Must have or obtain a Class A or B Private Investigator Security Guard Services license
• Cannot have any interest in a driver training school or be a driver training instructor
• Must report any apparent conflicts of interest prior to undertaking assigned investigation

• Conduct investigative duties including interviews, record reviews, and report writing
• Provide written reports and evidence within two to four weeks of investigation completion
• Participate in witness preparation and provide testimony in administrative hearings
• Assist with development and enforcement of Ohio Administrative Code for driver training programs
• Attend workshops and staff meetings to stay updated on program changes
• Maintain communication via Outlook Calendar, email, Teams, and phone
• Participate in quarterly meetings to review program direction and plan trainings
• Provide support and guidance in rule changes
• Complete assigned tasks to the satisfaction of the Ohio Driver Training State Administrator
• Maintain appropriate licensing and report any lapses or disciplinary actions
