The buyer seeks a peer-run organization to assist in advancing career counseling objectives for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The organization will provide self-advocate co-presenters for Community Day Service organizations holding 14c certificates in Illinois. The project involves creating scripts, supporting presentations, developing accessible materials, and collecting feedback to improve services for individuals with disabilities.

• Create scripts for regional target audiences based on collected information
• Provide consultation support for CDS providers in preparing self-advocate co-presenters
• Develop accessible templates and materials for peer-led self-advocate presentations
• Conduct a minimum of 4 presentations annually
• Provide virtual presentations when necessary
• Manage payroll for peer-led self-advocate co-presenters and additional expenses
• Establish customer-friendly, accessible administration for feedback collection
• Compile and analyze presentation feedback
• Meet quarterly with DRS to review feedback and make recommendations
• Convene annual follow-up group meeting with customers not interested in competitive integrated employment
