Buyer seeks an Information Technology Manager to direct and manage all IT projects, functions, and infrastructure operations. The role involves planning and directing the development of the City's systems, managing hardware and software, and ensuring network security. The position requires overseeing cybersecurity efforts, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations. The manager will develop IT policies, support departments in leveraging technology, and manage the IT budget and contracts.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in the technology field
• Three to five years of system administration and end-user support experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
• IT certifications required – Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019, or Office 365
• Ability to work a non-routine shift and be 'on-call' as needed

• Develop and maintain a technology strategy for the City
• Oversee all cybersecurity efforts of the Information Technology infrastructure
• Manage disaster recovery efforts in all city locations and local data centers
• Develop and administer departmental budget
• Perform applications software analysis, design, development, and management
• Develop city-wide policies relating to IT-related systems
• Promote cyber security awareness through communications, policies, and training
• Manage development, negotiation, and administration of IT contracts
• Oversee installation plans and integration of new systems
• Prepare monthly reports on the status of the IT Department
