The buyer is seeking an individual or firm to plan and produce a destination event for Visit Loveland during February 2025, targeting the Valentine's Day weekend. The goal is to create an annual destination event marketed regionally, nationally, and internationally to increase out-of-town visits and hotel stays. The buyer wants to elevate the Sweetheart Festival to a signature event building on the success of previous events. The event should be centered around a unique concept that is engaging to a cross-section of demographics, including families and couples.

• Minimum of five years experience creating and producing large-scale events
• Knowledge of event design, staff management, vendor management, and sponsorship programs
• Preferred experience with municipal permitting processes, street closures, and parking considerations

• Create and execute original concept for Loveland Sweetheart Festival
• Provide event planning, coordination, and manage day-to-day operations
• Contract with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maximize community partnerships and solicit sponsorships
• Conduct regular planning meetings and provide weekly updates to City staff
• Design event programming and create sponsorship program
• Manage City permitting processes and street closures
• Source and manage all needed equipment for the event
• Coordinate vendors and manage event signage
• Provide post-event debrief within four weeks of conclusion
