The buyer seeks an ultrashort baseline (USBL) Mobile/Rapidly Relocatable Acoustic Tracking System. This system will support research programs in Naval Mine Countermeasures, Unmanned Underwater Vehicles, and Meteorological and Oceanographic programs. The buyer requires various components including transponders, transceivers, and software. The system should allow for tracking and communication with underwater vehicles and sensors.

  • Provide USBL tracking system with surface Navigation Sensor Hub and Computer control system
  • Supply four Vector Seafloor USBL Position Reference Transponders
  • Deliver four Vehicle Mounted Acoustic Transponders
  • Furnish surface telemetry transceiver deployable from small ship
  • Include passive subsurface transducer system for each seafloor reference transponder
  • Provide Long Base Line (LBL) Telemetry Transceiver
  • Deliver all required software packages and product documentation
  • Conduct training on operation, maintenance, and integration of all systems
  • Provide onsite commissioning and support at USM facility in Gulfport, MS
  • Offer warranty support for at least one year from acceptance
