Firefighters' Pension Investment Fund

Buyer is seeking expressions of interest for investment in Infrastructure Large Market Non-Core Funds. Buyer intends to commit approximately $80 million annually to such funds, allocating capital across one to three individual fund commitments each year. Buyer aims to build the Non-Core portion of its Infrastructure program through direct selection of funds. The procurement is open to submissions on an ongoing basis.

• 10/7/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• General Partner in operation for at least five years
• Experience managing at least two prior Non-Core Infrastructure Funds
• Existing Non-Core Infrastructure Fund assets under management exceeding $3 billion
• Target fund capitalization of $5 billion or more
• Experience managing investments for tax-exempt or governmental defined benefit plans

• Manage investments in Infrastructure Large Market Non-Core Funds
• Target primary control investments in privately held assets or companies
• Structure investments as closed-end fund vehicles
• Manage investments for tax-exempt or governmental defined benefit plans
• Provide regular reporting and disclosure to FPIF
• Comply with Illinois pension laws and regulations
• Maintain confidentiality while adhering to transparency requirements
• Execute customary side letter with FPIF
• Provide information for FPIF's fiduciary reporting obligations
• Manage fund within target capitalization of $5 billion or more
