The buyer seeks a Recruiting Coordinator for the Bluegrass Challenge Academy, a program for at-risk youth ages 15.5 to 18 located at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. The coordinator will recruit potential candidates, develop referral networks, and assist with various program phases. The contract covers services and travel reimbursement throughout the Commonwealth. The buyer requires experience in youth recruiting and compliance with state regulations.

• 10/7/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• Minimum of 5 years recruiting and/or youth challenge experience

• Promote Challenge Program and provide information to prospective applicants
• Develop and maintain network of referral sources for at-risk youth
• Recruit at least 100 accepted applicants for each fiscal year's two residential classes
• Interview applicants and ensure submission of complete applications
• Assist with cadet transports for emergencies, court dates, and medical appointments
• Plan and execute special outreach events like Academy tours and Open Houses
• Generate placement options for all graduates from the region
• Perform duties relevant to acclimation, residential, and post-residential program phases
• Complete required NGB-J1-Y Youth Challenge training
• Undergo KARES background check with fingerprints
