Buyer seeks a consultant to oversee comprehensive conservation efforts for Crestwood's Park system. The consultant will work with the Parks and Recreation Director and Park Crew Leader. Tasks include overseeing grant projects, coordinating park enhancements, writing grants, providing technical assistance, and organizing volunteer events. The consultant will also develop outreach initiatives and conservation planning strategies for various parks in the city.

• Bachelor's in Biology, Conservation or closely related field
• Minimum 10 years experience with conservation planning
• Minimum 5 years working with volunteer organizations and volunteers
• Minimum 5 years working with the general public
• Minimum 5 years working with native plantings

• Oversee Back to Nature grant project
• Coordinate bioretention and pond enhancements at Spellman Park
• Find and write grants for current and future park projects
• Create street and park tree inventory
• Conduct native landscape maintenance and staff training
• Organize monthly volunteer events for invasive plant removal
• Develop framework for innovative program and outreach initiatives
• Coordinate master conservation planning strategy for Whitecliff Park
• Promote conservation programs and resources in the community
• Provide technical assistance for various parks and community requests
