- Bachelor's in Biology, Conservation or closely related field
- Minimum 10 years experience with conservation planning
- Minimum 5 years working with volunteer organizations and volunteers
- Minimum 5 years working with the general public
- Minimum 5 years working with native plantings
- Oversee Back to Nature grant project
- Coordinate bioretention and pond enhancements at Spellman Park
- Find and write grants for current and future park projects
- Create street and park tree inventory
- Conduct native landscape maintenance and staff training
- Organize monthly volunteer events for invasive plant removal
- Develop framework for innovative program and outreach initiatives
- Coordinate master conservation planning strategy for Whitecliff Park
- Promote conservation programs and resources in the community
- Provide technical assistance for various parks and community requests
