Buyer seeks an external evaluator for Connecticut's African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino Course of Studies implementation. The project spans from contract execution until June 30, 2025, with potential continuation through June 2026. Evaluator will assess student knowledge, skills, and identity development, as well as teacher content knowledge and pedagogy implementation. Buyer requires expertise in relevant studies, curriculum design, and K-12 implementation.

• Expertise with African American/Black and/or Puerto Rican/Latino studies
• Experience with K-12 curriculum design and development

• Capacity for independent coordination and interagency collaboration
• Flexible availability throughout contract period

• Develop pre-, mid-, and post-student knowledge and skills assessments
• Gather and analyze student, teacher, family, administrator, and coach feedback
• Evaluate improved 21st century skills, content knowledge, and identity development
• Assess teacher content knowledge and culturally relevant pedagogy implementation
• Collaborate with CSDE/SERC Project Team on research questions and methods
