The buyer is seeking an innovative public relations and communications agency to promote Tallahassee-Leon County as a preferred visitor destination. The agency will develop relationships with media and social influencers to secure positive editorial coverage. The buyer aims to generate $5 billion in economic impact and increase visitation by 3% annually through strategic marketing and sales efforts. The agency will implement public relations activities on a regional and national level.

• Minimum 5 years experience with DMO and/or Convention Visitors Bureaus
• Strong media relationships and ability to attract travel and social influencers
• Experience coordinating with multiple agency partners and industry partners

• Develop and implement annual public relations strategies aligned with seasonal marketing campaigns
• Create content including editorial calendar, press kit, press releases, and blog posts
• Pitch Tallahassee/Leon County to national, travel trade, influencers, and publications
• Coordinate media familiarization tours for domestic and international media
• Provide monthly, quarterly and annual earned media reports and ROI measurements
• Monitor media trends and identify appropriate opportunities to pursue
• Garner exposure through national print, radio and digital promotions
• Present occasionally during Tourist Development Council Meetings
