The buyer is seeking organizations or groups to address the opioid crisis through prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery programs. The buyer will provide funding to support development, implementation, enhancement, or expansion of programs addressing substance use disorders, polysubstance use, and co-occurring mental health issues. The funding period will be two years for programmatic contracts and one year for purchases. At least 90% of funding awards must be used for direct opioid remediation services, with indirect costs capped at 10%.

• Develop programs addressing opioid prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery

• Design interventions for individuals currently using substances
• Address disparities in social determinants of health for unhoused individuals
• Provide recovery support for those with substance use and co-occurring disorders
• Implement transportation solutions for accessing addiction services
• Develop addiction and SUD prevention and education activities for youth
• Create programs serving marginalized populations affected by substance use
